  1. Today is the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord.
  2. The Parish Youth had Organized “Kongottkarancho Avaz”. We thank all those who helped us to make this event a success.
  3. We invite the Youth to join the St. Alex Parish Youth group.
  4. Today Mass in hindi at St. Alex Church Calangute at 3.30pm.
  5. On Thursday 25th May, there is a recollection and meeting for the catechists at 6.00pm.
  6. From 4th June 2023, at 8:45am we are starting the Catecism classes followed by mass at 10:00am.
  7. Admissions are open at St. Theresa’s Higher Secondary School, Candolim for STD XI Arts, Commerce and Vocational: Fashion Designing, Catering Restaurant and Management.
  8. Dongorpur Parishioners are planning to build a small chapel to the existing Cross. Today they will be standing outside the church and chapels for your generous contribution. Kindly help them generously.
  9. The PPC members are requested to give the new list of names of Sick and Old people from their somudais.
  10. Fr. Gregory Cruz is transferred. He is appointed as Parish Priest of Mardol Church. There will be a thanksgiving mass at Piety Chapel, Cobravaddo on 28th May 2023 at 4:00pm.
  11. Dear Parishioners, it has been noticed that the bodies that has been exhumed are not decomposed. We are trying to solve this issue with some suggestions.
    1. To keep the grave open by removing the stones.
    2. To change the mud.
    3. To bury the body with lime powder.
    4. Shawl burial (As it is done in Mumbai )

We have not taken the final decision and we are open for immediate suggestion.
